Image
Mercedes-AMG has just revealed interior photos of their upcoming SL Roadster. From the photos, one clearly can see tbat the SL will now be a 4-seater although rhere seems to be very little space fro the legs with the rear seats, they would be ideal for child seats maybe. The SL also will carry on Mercedes' latest MBUX infotainment system of which we all know is one of the best in the market right now. We are expecting the new SL to be launched some time late next year or early 2023.        Image Credits: @Daimler Media

Image Credits: @autoexpress Reports say that Mercedes-Benz is working on a new Cabriolet to replace two of their models, the C-Class Coupe & Cabriolet and the E-Class Coupe & Cabriolet. The new Cabriolet will be named the CLE and it will be based on the platform of the W206 C-Class and the new S-Class, the car is expected to make its debut in 2023 if not late 2022. Image Credits: @autoexpress It can be seen from those renders that the model should have some resemblance of the C257 CLS Coupe.

The rare & forgotten Japanese AMG.

Image
Hello readers, today we will take a look back at one of the rarest AMG tuned cars ever made, the elegant Mitsubishi Galant AMG.  Yes you read that right, AMG! Let us take you on a history lesson for a second shall we? You see, back in 1989 before AMG became a Mercedes only in-house tuner in 1999, Mitsubishi struck a deal with them to tune the Galant to make it better.  The Mitsubishi Galant AMG was produced from 1989 to 1991 in a very limited number. Only 500 units were made and they were only sold within the Japanese market. The German tuner reworked the internals of Mitsubishi's 4G63 engine to make more power, yes the engine was not built from scratch by AMG under the One Man, One Engine principle.  AMG also made a few touches to the Galant's exterior. The suspension was also reworked. Unlike the other AMG "touched" Mitsubishi, the Debonaire V 3000 Royal AMG, the Galant had a lot that was done to it. We shall talk about the Debonair on another day. With AMG's m...

ONE OF THE MOST RETRO CARS: The BMW Z8.

Image
And today we take a look back at one of the most retro BMWs ever made, the BMW Z8 from the 2000s. *Inspired by the legendary, but unsuccessful, BMW 507 the Z8 came out as a future classic from on the go.And today, getting one of these will surely cost you a lot of money and maybe good negotiation skills.. The BMW Z8 came out as a convertible which had both a soft top and removable hard top, cool right? We know..close to perfection. There were Roadster versions too. Under that long hood lies the BMW S62 4.9L V8 found in the E39 M5 and the grille? Yah it doesn't exactly say "BMW"  but it's alright..even the headlights look like something from Aston Martin or Porsche maybe. The BMW Z8 specs;   -Engine   : 4.9L Naturally Aspirated V8 with DOHC, 4 Valves per cylinder. -Power output  : 400 HP and 500Nm of torque. -Acceleration  from  0-100km/h  : 4.2 seconds  before topping out at 294km/h. - 6-speed manual transmission  except for the Alpina Models ...

All-new Porsche 911 GT3 Touring.

Image
Porsche has just revealed the all-new 911 GT3 Touring which is basically a 911 GT3 but with more subtle styling. One of the key differences is the lack of that gigantic rear wing found on the usual 911 GT3. The GT3 Touring uses a different, retractable rear wing but other than that it remains identical to the usual 911 GT3. The 911 GT3 Touring also retains the same 4.0L Flat-6 Naturally Aspirated engine which the usual GT3 has. The power output also remains the same at 500 hp. The 911 GT3 Touring will still have the option of either a 6-speed manual transmission or Porsche's 8-speed PDK transmission.  Do you prefer the look of the usual 911 GT3 with that massive rear wing or the GT3 Touring is the one you want?
